Dear Members,Â
We wanted to let you know about Woldingham Tennis Club’s Annual Tennis Tournament for members, the events we are running and how to enter for it.Â
The finals day this year will be on Sunday 8th September and the following events you can enter for are below subject to enough entries for each event - the adults finals will be played from 12pm (noon) onwards and the junior finals will be in the morning.Â
Adult Events
Men's singles. Ladies singles. Men's doubles. Ladies doubles. Mixed doubles. Men's vets' singles. Men's vets' doubles. Ladies vets' singles. Ladies vets' doubles – the vet's events are 50 and over.Â
All adult matches will be best of three with the final set (at one set all) being a full set unless both/all players agree to play a match tie break instead. Â
Junior Events
U/8singles (Red). U/9 singles (orange). U/10 singles (Green). U/16 yellow ball singles – all the junior age groups will have a girl and a boy singles event except the red ball which will be a fun round robin event on finals day and is only open to 7/8 years.Â
Celia Edwards and Patrick Gorman will be the tournament organisers and please do contact them if you have questions or need help.Â

          - your name
          - your contact details (email and mobile number)
          - the list of events that you would like to enter
          - if playing doubles (adults) the name of your chosen partner
If you would like to play doubles, but don’t have a partner, please let me know, and we see if we can link you with someone.Â
Please email Celia to confirm your entry by Thursday 16th May so that we can ensure that everyone has enough time to play their matches ahead of the finals on Sunday 8th September.Â
