🎾 WLTC - Road to Wimbledon U14s Junior Tournament 🎾

Dear Members
We are pleased to extend an invitation to our young members to enter the ‘Road to Wimbledon’ tournament, a competition aimed at juniors members interested in the competitive side of tennis. The tournament begins at club level and then progresses to Club Finals, before drawing to a close at the world famous grass courts of Wimbledon at the All England club for the National Finals between August 12-18.Â
The first competition will take place on Sunday 29th April, 9.30am at Woldingham LTC. If you would like to enter your child into the ‘Road to Wimbledon’ tournament, please email Head Coach, Patrick Gorman, at patrickjgorman-@outlook.com by Monday 23rd April.Â
There are separate events for girls and boys and all players must be 14 & under (born 1 Sept 2003 – 31 Aug 2007) and must be rated 10.2 - 7.1 or have no rating as of April 17, 2018. (and not 15 years old by this date). The competition is ideally suited to players used to playing full court tennis with yellow ball on a competitive basis.
The girl and/or boy winner(s) of this event will be invited to the County Finals on July 14-15Â
