🎾 WLTC - Club Re-opening & 2021/22 Membership Info 🎾
Posted by Daryl McCartney on 11 March 2021
Dear Members,
I am pleased to confirm that our tennis club will re-open on the 29th March 2021.
LTA guidelines setting out what is and isn’t allowed can be found at www.lta.org.uk. The guidelines are updated regularly so please ensure that you consult the website to obtain latest details on our return to tennis.
The clubhouse may be used for equipment collection, toilets and lights but please do not gather or remain inside for longer than is required. The coaches will lock the clubhouse when not required.
Our membership year starts on the 1st April 2021. The committee met (virtually) last week to consider the issue of membership fees, the “Covid“ discount proposals and the clubs financial requirements for the 2021/22 season. I am pleased to say that following sound fiscal policies for the last year the clubs finances are in a good state and we are therefore in a position to recognise :
(1) The loss of playing time in 2020/21
(2) The impact of Covid 19 on all members
(3) The support given by members to the club over the last year.
The committee unanimously agreed that to reflect the 3 issues referred to above, the club would offer a substantial discount/fee waiver for this season calculated on the following basis:
For members who were fully paid up by the 14th April 2020, this year’s fees will be:
Adults £100
Family £200
Joint £170
Student £40
Junior/Mini/Tots £0
For members who paid/joined last year after the 14th April 2020 this years fees will be:
Adults £125
Family £250
Joint £212
Student £50
Junior/Mini/Tots £0
Please note that these heavily discounted fees will only be available for members who pay their subscriptions before the 14th April 2021. Any memberships paid after that date will default to the new 2021/22 rates which will be published on the club website.
Subscriptions are to be paid via the ClubSpark website please. You will need to log in with the same account you used for last years subscription. You should then see a section for “Your membership” with the renewal for this years membership.
For any member who may need to change membership category this year or is unable to make such a payment please contact our treasurer Tim Rush membership@woldinghamtennisclub.co.uk for alternative options.
Best wishes
